I offer independent, senior-level strategic advisory services to corporates, fintech companies, law firms, infrastructure developers, and public institutions seeking practical, legally defensible approaches to accessibility and inclusion under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act), Digital accessibility requirements, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

My advisory work bridges law, policy, governance, and lived experience. With over 25 years at the intersection of disability rights, accessibility implementation, and institutional design, I help organisations move beyond compliance checklists to embed accessibility into core systems, processes, and decision-making.

Areas of Advisory Support

• RPwD Act & Digital Accessibility Compliance

• Strategic gap analysis, compliance roadmaps, and senior-level review of accessibility plans for regulated entities (banks, insurance companies, stock exchanges, listed companies). Particular focus on legal defensibility and risk mitigation ahead of regulatory deadlines.

• Policy & Governance Frameworks

• Development or review of institutional accessibility policies, reasonable accommodation frameworks, and internal governance mechanisms that align with Supreme Court expectations and RPwD standards.

• Techno-Ableism & Responsible AI Governance

• Advisory on how emerging technologies and automated systems can reduce or reproduce exclusion. Includes review of AI ethics guidelines, digital product design processes, and bias safeguards from a disability perspective (drawing on The Bias Pipeline research).

• Built Environment & Infrastructure Projects

• High-level strategic guidance on large-scale accessibility planning, retrofit strategies, and integration of accessibility into project design and tender documents for campuses, transport systems, public buildings, and heritage sites.

Evidence-Based Inputs & Expert Review

Short document reviews, opinion notes, and lived-experience inputs for legal opinions, board presentations, or regulatory filings.

All engagements are conducted virtually and are scoped as short, focused assignments (typically 45–90 minutes for strategy calls or 4–8 hours for document reviews and roadmaps) to respect time and deliver high-value inputs efficiently.
